How To Use WhatsApp On 4 Devices Together Even if Your Phone Does Not Have Internet - TechieEngineer.com

WhatsApp has started rolling out the multi-device feature publicly. While this feature is still in beta, it will allow users to pair up to four devices without having to keep their main smartphone connected to the internet. This feature is available for both Android and iOS users.

They can currently use this feature by signing up for the beta test. This allows WhatsApp web to work on your laptop, even without your phone being connected to the internet.

People can link up to 4 devices (smartphones or laptops or tablets) with their WhatsApp. This function becomes useful when you use multiple devices: telephone, laptop and/or tablet. The feature is currently in open beta, so you will need to sign up for the multi-device beta first.

Let’s see how we can do this:

  1. Open whatsapp on your primary smart phone.
  2. Tap on the menu with three dots in the top right corner, then tap on Paired Devices. This will pop up the display from which you log into WhatsApp Web.
  3. Tap “Multi-device beta,” then tap “Participate in beta.”
  4. After this, go back to the Lined Devices page and tap the Pair a device knob.
  5. Open web.whatsapp.com on your secondary device.
  6. Scan the QR code displayed on your secondary device with your smartphone camera.
  7. Once paired, you can forget about your smartphone and use WhatsApp web freely.

Now you can use WhatsApp on both devices. You won’t have to worry about keeping your main smartphone connected to the internet or leaving it on. Once logged in, the paired devices on WhatsApp can receive and send messages for up to 14 days after your main smartphone goes offline. The only limitation of this feature is on iOS devices that you can’t delete conversations or messages from a paired device.

Moreover, you won’t be able to pair a tablet or a secondary smartphone with WhatsApp.
